How do I link interfund transfer accounts?

Go to Transactions > Chart Of Accounts

Filter accounts to show only the 397s

  1. Click Filter
  2. Select BAS under Account Range and enter 397 - 397
  3. Click Apply

Find the account that needs to be linked

  1. Highlight the account that needs to be linked
  2. Click Line View
  1. Click Edit
  2. Double-click in the Offset cell

Find the appropriate offset account

397 accounts can only be linked to a 597 account that has not previously been used as an offset account

  1. Highlight the expense account that needs to be linked
  2. Click Select

The expense account will now show in the Offset cell

  1. Verify that the Offset account is correct

Is the offset account correct

  1. Click Save
  2. Click Close

If the wrong offset account has been selected...

  1. Click the blue button to clear the offset
  2. Double-click in the offset cell and select the correct account

Do you need to link more interfund accounts?
