How do I create interfund transfer accounts?

Use Interfund Transfers to record transfers authorized by resolution.

Go to Transactions > General Ledger

  1. Click Add New

Interfund transfer accounts must be linked in the Chart of Accounts as a required step for the GL Wizard to work.  Follow separate instructions to Link Interfund Transfer Accounts

  1. Select Date within the authorized transfer month.
  2. Select Type Int Tran, Interfund Transfer
  3. Click GL Wizard

  1. Select the funds needed for the transfer.
  2. Enter total Amount needed to make the transfer.  (Accounts will automatically populate based on their links in the Chart of Accounts).
  3. Click Save & Close.

Multiple interfund transfer can be recorded in one transaction.

  1. Always enter a Memo, ordinance or resolution number authorizing the transfer.
  2. Click Save & Close
